This year’s International Day of Peace educational and cultural event will focus on the UN’s international theme: Climate Action for Peace, including a:

** Facilitated panel discussion identifying linkages between climate change and global peace and security issues
** Cultural dance and procession with a peace dove designed by Jane Goodall
** Peace pole dedication by the CEO of Hosteling International
** Rangoli art and language lesson
** Reception featuring local food and wine
** Small-group discussions, tabling by local organizations, and networking opportunities
